Cubs fans get to watch live baseball thanks to the rooftops around Wrigley Field

It might be a while until we’re allowed to attend live sporting events again in North America, but there’s still a way to watch live Cubs games in Chicago in a way that makes you feel like you’re inside the stadium.

The Chicago Cubs opened their season against the Milwaukee Brewers on Friday night and even though there weren’t any fans in the seats, there were still fans watching on from a distance who got to witness all the action live before their eyes.

The rooftops around Wrigley Field are actually open, but the capacity has been cut down to 50 fans from 200.

So, while most sports fans around North America will have to sit and wait until they’re allowed back inside stadiums, select Cubs fans will be able to watch live home games during the shortened 60-game season.
