Gavin McKenna has been selected first overall by the Toronto Maple Leafs.
After recording 88 assists and 129 points in his third season with the Medicine Hat Tigers, McKenna joined Penn State in 2025, registering 36 assists and 51 points in 35 games.
The hype around the 18-year-old is so large that FanDuel already has him -700 to log 50-or-more points as a rookie in 2026-27.
He is also +750 to reach 70 points, something no rookie has done since Mathew Barzal in 2018.
