Defenceman Maxim Groshev has signed a two-year, two-way contract to remain with the Tampa Bay Lightning, the team announced Tuesday morning.
The team did not immediately announce further terms of the deal.

The 24-year-old appeared in two games with the Lightning last season and recorded one assist. He also had three goals and 18 assists for 21 points in 58 games with the AHL’s Syracuse Crunch.
He also played in four Calder Cup Playoff games with the Crunch and recorded one assist.
Groshev was selected in the third round (No. 85 overall) by the Lightning in the 2020 NHL Draft. He played his first season in the AHL during the 2023-24 campaign.
