An injury to light-heavyweight Glover Teixeira has forced the UFC to change main events for a Feb. 22 televised card in Porto Alegre, Brazil.

Teixeira, ranked sixth among 205-pound contenders, had been slated to meet former champion Rashad Evans, currently fourth in the rankings.

Instead Antonio (Bigfoot) Silva (18-6 with one no contest) and former heavyweight champion Frank Mir (16-9) will face off in the main event in Brazil. The two were originally scheduled to meet Feb. 28 at UFC 184 in Los Angeles.

There was no immediate word on Evans' next bout.

Silva, who has lost three in a row, is ranked eighth among heavyweight contenders. Mir, who has lost four straight, is No. 13.

In other news, a heavyweight bout between No. 9 Roy (Big Country) Nelson and No. 11 Alistair Overeem has been added to UFC 185, set for March 14 in Dallas. The main event is a lightweight title bout between Anthony (Showtime) Pettis and Rafael dos Anjos.
