Russell Wilson might be back for a 15th NFL season or he might be on TV talking about the 2026 NFL season instead of playing in it.

The veteran quarterback tells The New York Post’s Ryan Dunleavy that he is currently weighing offers from both the New York Jets and an unnamed network looking to bring the 10-time Pro Bowler on board as an analyst.

“It was great,” Wilson said of his meeting with the Jets. “They offered me, and I’m trying to figure out what the next best thing is for me to do. I still know I can play ball at a high level, but also I have an opportunity to do TV, so we’ll see what happens.”

While unconfirmed, the network in question is believed to be CBS. The Athletic’s Andrew Marchand reported last week that CBS views Wilson as a potential replacement for Matt Ryan on their NFL panel. Ryan exited CBS earlier this year when he rejoined the Atlanta Falcons as team president.

A native of Cincinnati, Wilson spent last season with the New York Giants. He appeared in six games, starting three of them, and threw for 831 yards on 69-for-119 passing with three touchdowns and three interceptions.

Originally taken with the 75th overall pick of the 2012 NFL Draft out of Wisconsin, Wilson spent the first 10 seasons of his career with the Seattle Seahawks with whom he won Super Bowl XLVIII in 2014. He would go on to play two seasons with the Denver Broncos before spending 2024 with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

For his career, Wilson has thrown for 46,966 yards (the 16th-most all-time) on 3,951-for-6,120 passing with 353 touchdowns (12th-most all-time) and 114 picks in 205 games.
