Savannah Harmon is now an ex-hockey player.

The Toronto Sceptres defender announced her retirement on Thursday at the age of 30.

Harmon just completed her second season with the Sceptres after being acquired in a midseason trade with the Ottawa Charge in 2024. She appeared in 30 games, scoring twice and adding four assists.

“Little Savannah would be so proud of how far she’s come and all the places this game has taken her,” Harmon wrote. “I truly can’t put into words how grateful I am for everything hockey has brought into my life over the years. Through all the highs and lows, these have been some of the absolute best years and memories of my life.”

A native of the Chicago area, Harmon finishes her PWHL career with five goals and 19 assists in 84 games across three seasons with the Sceptres and Charge.

Internationally, Harmon represented the United States on a number of occasions, winning a pair of gold medals at the 2023 and 2025 IIHF Women’s World Championships and silver at the 2022 Beijing Olympics.
