Wolves could continue a busy summer with the addition of Niko Sigur.
Sky Sports’ Lyall Thomas reports the recently relegated side are interested in bringing the versatile Canada midfielder with them to the Championship.
Thomas suggests the 22-year-old Burnaby, BC native could be available from Hajduk Split for a fee in the neighbourhood of £2.5 million.
Sigur, who made his senior debut in 2024, appeared in three of Canada’s five World Cup matches, including a start in the team’s 3-0 Round of 16 loss to Morocco on Saturday. The appearances took Sigur to 18 in a Canada shirt.
Sigur has spent the past four seasons with the Hajduk Split first team, having made 98 league appearances. He has five goals.
Relegated from the Premier League last season, Wolves have prepared for life in the Championship with a number of new signings including Czechia centre-back Ladislav Krejci from Girona, former England left-back Kieran Trippier on a Bosman from Newcastle and the return of Mexico forward Raul Jimenez on a free transfer from Fulham.
